As someone with learning disabilities, I consume most books via audio. I would look everywhere for audiobook merch but could never find any. I began making my own shirts to wear to bookish events, and the feedback was generally about where I got them and whether I sold them. I always thought it would be in the future; however, with a recent development, I need to supplement my income and decided there’s no time like the present, thus Listening Counts was born.
